Puller vs. Pusher — Which Do You Need?
Not sure which configuration suits your application? Here's the quick guide:
- Puller: Mounts behind the radiator/cooler (engine side). Generally more efficient — the fan is working with natural airflow at speed.
- Pusher: Mounts in front of the radiator/cooler (ambient side). Better when space behind the core is restricted, or when you're adding a second fan to an existing setup.
Both fans in this series deliver near-identical performance specs, so the choice really comes down to your mounting situation.
